I think SuperCoug is being a bit misinterpreted.
Of course kids should learn how to read and read and comprehend well.
But also we live in a age where we don't need to search books to gather info. We have resources at hands that do the searching for us. The new skill will be how to quickly search and find the relevant data in the searches.
