Is this possible? I bumped into a gal skiing who moved here from Glens Falls
New York. She was in her early 20's I guess, 22 maybe 24ish.
I said, "Oh, you're from the land of Jimmer Fredette!"
Girl: "Who?"
(Puzzled me): "Surely you've heard of Jimmer Fredette? He's gotta be like one of the biggest athlete celebrities from that area?"
Girl: "Nope. I've not heard of him"
My reply: "Well, he's a pretty big deal around here, and he's from your home town".
(Stupified me walking away mumbling): "Your last name must be 'Peralta'"
Seriously? Can someone be from Glens Falls, NY and NOT know who Jimmer Fredette is?
