Ideally you want everything, but we don't live in an ideal world.

Is the primary concern the ability to teach the skills and tactics necessary for the position?
Where does recruiting fall?
What about upward mobility? I mean, do you want somebody who may only wish to remain as a position coach or one who looks as if he can manage additional responsibility?
How about scheme compatibility?
Other factors and skills?
