reason to expect losses to Weber State, Illinois State, UNLV and SDSU. Losing to Nevada, Houston, MSU and Gonzaga was understandable. They should have been able to beat USF and St. Mary's on the road, but those losses are understandable.

So, we've lost to 4 teams we absolutely should have beaten, gotten blown out twice to two teams that should have been coin flips and didn't rise to the occasion against any of the really strong teams.

No matter how you slice it, BYU has underperformed this year. A year that some BYU fans have been pointing to for some time as the year BYU finally gets 'old enough' to do some damage in the NCAA. Instead we're on the bubble for an NIT bid.
