defending 5A state doubles tennis champions in Idaho. About to start the second set. My girls first picked up a racket 3 years ago, because they had just moved to a new school and the first friend they made was going out for the tennis team. A few days later they went to the coach to tell her they were quitting, but before they could get it out the coach told them how excited she was to have them on the team (very small high school) and then my girls were too embarrassed to quit after that.

It's a little sad for me that I can't be with them this season, but super proud of the progress they've made over the past couple of years. It would be a huge confidence boost for them if they could hold on and win the next set.
