It all depends on how the game goes.
Storming the field in a national championship type of game is appropriate, I would say, but not the only reason to do so.

A lot of people on this board gave BYU fans grief for storming the field after the Mississippi State game because it wasn't an important game. That was a reaction to the emotion of the game. It was tied at the half. Jamaal breaks the school rush record in OT. Double OT happens. One play on office and BYU is up. A stop on D for the win builds the excitement that everyone rushed the field.

If an Andrew George OT win or Beck to Harline win happens, then expect them to storm the field.

If the game goes like it did last year for both halves rather than just the first. I think everyone just leaves happy. If there isn't a dramatic finish to the game, then the field isn't stormed. Up 35 to 14 and BYU is just rushing for the 4th and the D holds strong and the game isn't in question, then it won't be that big a thing at game time.
