it was like they pulled every super hero cliche out of the super hero cliche book and made a script out of it. Then, they put in a bunch of not-so-subtle political and empowerment statements. Ok, i get it. She's a woman and she's also super powerful and she doesn't have to take crap from anybody. How about a woman super hero where it's not the woman part that is the main story line? And i know, it's not made for me. Thanks.

It was just...a really really below average movie. Make captain marvel a white dude and take out the political crap and the movie gets a 30% on rotten tomatoes. It's still crushing at the box office though so i'm sure Marvel doesn't care how it makes the $. They've created a machine.
