Not too long ago Utah beat Michigan in the first game
Granted it was Harbaugh's first game with Michigan but it was still Michigan. On national TV. And Utah is much more talented now than the team was against Michigan.
Yes Utah seems to be soft in its first game. But they have played to the level of the competition in their first game also.
Not saying Utah won't have some issues in the first game against BYU - they will. But they will not be soft against BYU in my opinion.
