You don't have the ability to say he has "no shot." Davies and KC didn't have any more of a shot than him. Some guys get lucky and stick around on D league teams and hope they get a call one day. KC decided to go tear it up in the d league for what, 25 grand at the time? It's not like he was someone an NBA team was all over right from the start. He had a long way to go to earn that.
As far as measurables Yoeli has a better chance than either of those two. But we're also talking about the difference between ever having a chance to play for a team, and being drafted. Sticking around for a senior year all but guarantees you're not getting drafted with your skill set and measurables. Rose wasn't any help on the development end.
You're old stale meat as a senior. You nearly are as a junior. That's for the 2nd round, but there's so many of them, they'll take their pick and that doesn't guarantee Yoeli a chance. Too many guys out there.
Yoeli is already a 20 and 10 guy and something like shooting is something pro teams wouldn't care as much about because they can work with that later once they're professionals. If there are certain things they don't like, such as defensive lateral quickness and ability to defend the perimeter, a senior year just isn't going to do much. By that point he'd just be old.
