They haven't made a Batman movie about him being a detective yet, and that's what this is supposed to be. Sherlock Holmes and Zorro are two of the primary influences on the creation of the character so I've been waiting for someone to do that part right. Based on what Reeves has been saying the approach is perfect for a new perspective that could be awesome--a noir style point of view driven detective story. Maybe with some added muscle Pattinson can do that.
