Pretty sure you can pay the balance of his tuition, and then once the grant goes
through he can get a check refunding the amount that you paid.
I got married halfway through a semester at UVU that I had already paid for, after which I became eligible for the pell grant and was then refunded for the semester that I had already paid for.
