For those two songs, I think the opposite. It's the vocalists that make them
great.
But, to your point, yes. There are some otherwise great songs that I have to turn off, because of the singer.

First, Morrison has a great voice, Jopplin too. But yes, if I find the singers voice anoying it ruins the song for me.
