Seems a bit hypocritical, but it’s nothing new. Cougarboard isn't perfect but I find it a much better experience for in-depth discussion than Twitter chats or Facebook groups. So their criticisms are largely overstated imo, but you do what you can do virtue signal.

It’s one reason why I respect Ben Criddle and ESPN960, they recognize that Cougarboard is an integral part of the die-hard BYU fan culture, and they acknowledge it as such.
