...games would get out of hand and end up being full tilt bruising affairs. They were lots of fun and the perfect P-Day activity after a week of stressful study. We’d beat each other up, then go back and hit the showers at the MTC. We’d turn on every shower, block the drains, cover the entrance and create a pseudo steam bath and bring something cold to drink and soak our aching muscles. We were there from the end of September through Thanksgiving weekend. Several districts formed their own teams and we sort of had our own intramural league going. It was great until someone broke their leg and the MP felt it had gotten too rough.
