CNN also put out their documentary called Apollo 11, which has no commentary,
but just live recording of video and audio of NASA. Good stuff. It’s on Hulu.

One thing I thought was cool was that the LEM had 4 minutes of fuel for landing on the moon, going from 30,000 feet above. They overshot the landing sight a little, and in just a quick amount of time they had to decide where to land. They had some alarms going off that the computers had too much to process so they were really at risk of crashing the thing into the moon. They pressed on instead of aborting, and went until they only had 15 seconds of fuel left. It was riveting to see that live and know how close they were to aborting, crashing, or never coming back.
