What exactly isn't "doom and gloom" about a 112 finish and 63 finish?
If it's "doom and gloom" to not be happy about clearly below average results for BYU, than the bar has been lowered awfully quick. I think even Kalani himself would admit the program has failed at the majority of its own stated goals. Labeling the recent outcomes "disappointing" isn't being a negative nancy. A bottom half finish average just isn't good--and it's miles below where BYU expects to be.

I haven't made a judgment on 2019 until we actually start seeing results. But to say a 5-6 win prediction by an oddsmaker as biased or "wallowing" just isn't fair. We've averaged that many reg. season wins over the past 3 years

It's entirely reasonable based on our recent seasons and considering our SOS is expected to be much higher next year.
