I didn't hear about this until this morning. Why did Cole only pitch 2 innings?
The report I saw said he pitched 2 perfect innings. Was it a planned thing? Is he coming off injury? Just wondering why only the two innings.
Still such a cool story-- especially the part where the last MLB no hitter in the state of California was on the day Skaggs was born in 1991.
