Interesting group texts with my neighbors today. I, along with 2 neighbors,
hired a lawn care service to take care of our lawns. Our yards are tiny and there are no fences so it's a pretty small and easy job for a professional and it doesn't break the bank for us to hire someone every year. This year the quality of their work has gone down hill. They didn't put down pre-winter fertilizer that ensures healthy, green grass in the Spring. So our lawns looked kind of depressing until June or so. Additionally, they have yet to spray for weeds. Our lawns are chuck full of dandelions. I'm a coward so I was just going to let it pass and let my neighbors know that I didn't want to hire the same company next year. My neighbors are more manly than me and they started sending the guy that owns the company texts today in a group text. They let him know that they were disappointed and that we would hire someone else next year if things didn't change ASAP. The guy just texted us that he's been in the ER with a heart attack. I feel a little better about my cowardly approach.
