Just about every state has adopted an implied Warranty of Merchantability...
This basically means that the SELLER promises that the product will do what it is supposed to do. For example, a car will run and a toaster will toast. Most sellers have a 30 or 60 day return policy. RC Willey limits theirs to 14 days. That is really short. For instance, lets say you purchased a t.v. as a present for Christmas. By the time Christmas rolls around and you get the TV set up, it can easily be past 14 days. If there is a problem with the T.V., getting Samsung or Sony or LG to address the problem takes time and is a big pain in the rear. Often times it involves you taking the item to a repair shop, OR arranging for it to be delivered.

If an item breaks after this time but before the manufacturers warranty expires, most Sellers will assist a customer in obtaining assistance from the Manufacturer. RC Willey is frankly a bit infamous in NOT being helpful to customers after the sale.
