to see the Jazz play before they were any good. She was bored to tears by sports, but my dad couldn't go and we had won two tickets in some contest. She didn't complain once and went with me because she knew it meant something to me. And I ended up winning a gym bag in some promotional contest. I had to walk all the way up to the court (not on the court) to get it for some reason I don't even remember. Seeing a minute or two of NBA players play up close for the first time was amazing.
