I see him listed at 206 and he's been back about a year correct?

Knowing that the BYU defense is likely an offshoot of Kyle's (and really Fred's) D, the linebacker and safety positions are the most complex on the defense. It takes a full season to be really comfortable in one of the positions and longer to know everything the other position is doing. 

If Chaz is really at 206 though, that is safety weight. I'm surprized he is at linebacker at that weight unless he is working hard on getting that up to 225+ while learning the position in a backup capacity. That's Andrew Mata'afa's situation at Utah currently.

It doesn't seem too late to me unless they need the depth more at linebacker right now or in future seasons than at safety.
