The MAC has approached the NCAA about allowing up to 35 scholarships a year but no more than 50 every two years.

I don't know how much support this concept. It would give teams greater flexibility when deciding their recruiting strategies..

Could also backfire. Coaches on the hot seat would bring in 35

Also helps new coaches get their guys in the system for quick fixes.
