when that was USC’s only big threat in that game was throwing over the top. I don’t know that Kyle really is petty enough that he’d keep the same defense just to stick it to BYU. Do they not have a zone defensive scheme in their playbook, or have they not run a zone often enough to be confident in it? Why didn’t they have that in their arsenal when they kept getting beat so they could have some help over the top? What am I missing? Legitimately curious why they wouldn’t have changed schemes after getting burned multiple times.
