They were complaining about several late hits and roughing the passer calls on USC and several times mentioned that Utah did exactly the same thing and wasn’t getting called. Any truth to what they were saying? They were incredulous- like fans. Made me think it must have been either some egregious no calls for Utah or some ticky-tacky calls on USC.

They also said something at the end like “isn’t it interesting...last week BYU fans rushed the field after beating number 24 USC...but here...this is the most subdued (their word) team and crowd I’ve ever seen after a top 10 win.”

The answer is obvious. Utah May have been ranked #10, but no one respects them. The PAC teams don’t respect them. They aren’t respected by anyone nationally (except Corso who is senile). They have massive expectations and almost always under perform. The lose games they shouldn’t on a regular basis. It is still like beating UCF when they are ranked high or when Georgia beat # 10 hawaii in the sugar bowl. It was expected.

By the way...I called this one. I am sure I would have got the spread right if USC hadn’t jumped offsides on that last field goal. I had USC by 10.
