that contribute to my stress, but I woke up today exhausted. I am tired of watching them lose in the playoffs. I do actually believe they have the core that will get them over the hump, especially as Kershaw starts to drop in the pitching order (very sad for me to say), but it won't be any earlier than a year from now and may not happen for 50 years, who knows. Either way, it will be at minimum another 173 games from now.
All that being said, the Dodgers chocked last night, like billyrust said, but before that they have just been beaten by teams as good or better than them the last several years. I think the Nats are a really solid team, but I think the Dodgers throughout had the better year, but luckily for them, they won the games they need to do and get to move on. I am genuinely thrilled for Nationals fans. I wish it hadn't happened against the Dodgers, but I'm happy for them. Them winning a series is well overdue and with all of the success and expectations put on the Dodgers, I can't imagine being a Nats fan and waiting this long to finally see them advance. I think they have a fun team to watch, I'm excited for them, and will likely be pulling for them the rest of the way.
As is typical with all my teams, here's to next year!
