He's able to set you two up to win but not become winners. These last two seasons have been pretty close given the level of the pac-12 however he is the same as Bronco when it comes to preparing his coaches for what's on the field and not for raising their own game to be coming coaches in their own right.
I used to think that he would get snapped up by bigger programs but he has sealed his fate. This is his peak. If he became available for some reason I would not want him at BYU.
I'm sure he would get results but again like Bronco he would have unexplainable losses and he would not be preparing any of the coaches he hired for their future thus securing another drought in coaching talent to keep BYU fed.
