It was less than I thought it would be
Went through Costco and did wood plantation shutters (not MDF) in all the front facing windows, master BR, and kitchen (13 windows total), and blinds in the rest of the house (15 windows total, leaving some in the back of the house open), and it was less than $10k. Plus we got 15% back with a Costco gift card.
