About a month ago, I had the opportunity of a lifetime.

I re-bought my high school car. The same one! Same car as in same VIN #. I found it across the country.

Many of you helped me think through the purchase process and transport process. Thank you! I appreciate this, it's been a bright spot through a crappy football season (at least the last 4 weeks).

It was quite the whirlwind of going out to NY and getting it, driving it across a couple of states to a friends house to be shipped, breakdown 1/4 of the way into our trip, meeting some members at a local ward in NJ, get some help there, transport it from NJ, a couple of truck drivers later (long story) it finally arrived in CA, where I fixed it up and have been having a blast.

Dreams come true! I've been looking and dreaming for a replacement 1965 Ford Falcon Sprint, but instead, I just got the same one back that was sold while I was on my mission almost 15 years ago.
