I signed up for it, but it has nowhere near the library of serious dramas that Netflix has. Nor do I expect them to add things anywhere near the pace that Netflix does. Perhaps in time, but I've not heard of any plans underway.
Disney+ seems to be a natural offering from Disney in the age of streaming that leverages their tremendous library of children's content, with their Star Wars and Marvel properties rounding out the offering, along with some other things.
Basically, if you have kids, Disney+ is a strong option, but it's not really a Netflix replacement, unless your kids were consuming Disney licensed content on Netflix maybe.
I think the lower price per month reflects Disney's smaller library on content.
