Let's make something very clear. If the Cougs were travelling east to play a more intriguing game like an ACC opponent

there would be a lot less angst about paying $20 to watch this game. This has everything to do with the Cougs being pretty meh, the opponent being abysmal, having to watch via streaming which blows anyway, and the fact that you only have to pay $20 to be part of all that.
