If it were me I would just find your own subs instead of going with a GC. You’ll
save money this way. I did this last summer. I did a couple things myself (framing and finish work) and subbed everything else. It was much cheaper than the bids I got from GC to do it all. Even I would have used my own subs for all of it it would have still been substantially cheaper.
