Obviously it will be cold, but is it still doable or fun? Some of my family (parents/siblings) are going to meet in Cour d'Alene area so was thinking of staying a night in Jackson and visit Grand Tetons on the way. I've got kids, but we make them do outdoor stuff often.
Had also considered not going up to northern Idaho and going to one of the Utah national parks, so let me know any thoughts on those in the winter. We did Arches and Canyonlands last year around this time. It was windy but not too cold. But obviously that could be different this year.
