Bear with me for a second

When I was Younger huge baggy pants were cool. Almost as embarrassing now as wearing girls jeans or backwards jeans and thinking it was cool.

So I’m jr high I really wanted to get a pair of baggy jeans. Finally talked my mom into taking me to the mall to get some but she refused to buy these ridiculous pants. Instead she bought me a plain old pair of 501s.

I went to a party a few days later and the whole time I thought people were looking at my STUPID TIGHT PANTS. In reality nobody cared about my tight pants. I see that now. They were certainly more aware of my pimples, braces, and huge glasses.

The point is sometimes we fixated on stupid stuff that nobody else really cares about.

I find a lot of guys who didn’t go on missions or didn’t finish are walking around with tight pants. Nobody really cares but they’re fixated on it and it colors their view of the church and it’s schools.

Nobody cares about your tight pants. Time to move on.
