Ticking off your franchise player, and a near-surefire Hall-of-Famer, just makes them look incompetent to the rest of MLB. When you have a top 3 worst all-time franchise record in baseball, you don’t have much room to be playing these games and still come out on top.

Just can’t believe the stupidity of this franchise right now. They’ve run nearly all my favorite players out of town eventually, and I’m nearly getting to the point of it being enough.
