...a little tired and then Zac came in and really D'd him up aggressively and played denial D on him. It sort of took the zip out of him and allowed BYU to get some stops and start stringing together baskets and build a lead again. We were about to let that game get away with us as well
in games like this where they have quicker and more aggressive guards, BYU needs to employ a 1-2-2 zone and play really tight to protect the paint against penetration then aggressively close out on perimeter shooters. At least mix it up on D so that those guards are seeing different looks and not just coming down and doing the same thing over and over.
