Robbie Hummel - played at Purdue. Played a couple years in the NBA and several years in Europe. Retired from basketball in 2017 and is working as a broadcaster, but still plays in the 3v3 circuit. He was the MVP of the 2019 world cup.

Damon Huffman - played at Brown where he was all-Ivy League 1st team in 2008. He played 5 years on Europe. He's been playing 3v3 since 2013 and is the highest ranked US player on the 3v3 circuit.

Kareem Maddox - played at Princeton where he was Ivy League DPOY in 2011. Has played a few years in Europe, but seems to have mostly focused on 3v3 which he has played since 2010. I expect he'll be on the Olympic team.

Canyon Barry - played 3 years at College of Charleston and then as grad transfer at Florida in 2017 where he was SEC 6th man of the year. Played a few seasons overseas and is now playing in the G-league for Iowa.


Hummel, Maddox, and Huffman are currently the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranked US 3x3 players in the FIBA rankings. Current top ranked US player is Dominique Jones. He played college ball at USF where he was 1st team All-Big East. He played a few years first the Mavericks (mostly relegated to D- league) and has played overseas the last 8 years (mostly in China).

US is ranked #2 in the world behind Serbia and has the #4 and #5 ranked teams. Hummel, Maddox, and Huffman all play for the #5 ranked team (Princeton). Jones plays for the #4 ranked team (NY Harlem).
