I blew mine up into a bunch of pieces because I was being stupid on a snowmobile. I ended up with a t-shaped metal plate to put it all back together. It slowed up the start of my running season but overall not a big deal. I went ahead and had the plate removed in the fall. Again not a big deal for that surgery either.
