Gonzaga will try and run shooters off the 3pt line best they can and play YC 1 on 1 in the post. This will open the lane for drives from BYU guards and GU may adjust. But I believe this will be the primary strategy to start.
This was the primary strategy in Spokane (without YC) and GU held BYU to .93 points per possession and 30% (6/20) from 3.
I know that YC will open up things... but if I were coach I'd give him his points and limit shots on the perimeter. Coach Few has always said "make them take 'tough' two's" as his philosophy.
