In CBers mind, only. Rather, he ran floor, shot well, had good hands all along.
The one thing he learned was to release his shot quickly. That aside, he has had all other qualities for years.
CBers miss a lot, as they have in times past, e.gs, Chatman, Toolson, Bartley, Nixon, Nielson, some even trash Haws, and especially, the still unsung Halford.
Guys who demonstrated good motor, good touch (remember Nixon's 100% FT shooting as a frosh), good hands, good thinker, team player, and toughness, can be good.
In Lee's case, add good size offset by not good hops.
I was one of those wrong in underrating Bartley's potential, but have always believed in Nixon's athleticism and shooting talent. I saw Lee scrimmage with BYU when he was a high school junior. He had all he shows now. Lee was a legit 4* IMO.
This team's touch, team play, and outstanding hands makes this offense unstoppable. Lee contributes to that.
