IMO, analytics drive this. In NCAA Tourney, he would press/foul to the end.
But why make low percentage plays, when chances of winning are less than 1%, and much greater chances to make the score worse.
Keeping the #1 Seed and winning WCC Tourney are priorities right now for Few.
Notice no one subs out starters with a 25 point lead anymore with 5 minutes to play. Metrics matter.
