It is not as high. Most notably, if you look at our record by quadrant wins and losses, it is not as impressive as other teams with the same metrics, most notably a lack of high quality wins. Metrics rate us highly because we lost all of our games in overtime or by 1 point (except Kansas and Gonzaga), and we blew out a ton of teams. The win against Gonzaga certainly helps, and if Saint Mary’s can get to top 30, we might finish with a .500 record in quad 1.
I do wonder how much weight will be put on us having healthy Yoeli and if the committee to potentially bump us up.
