Exactly. My reply when I received a text message about this case from a neighbor on Saturday was
that statistics are clear that that age group is not being affected, but that doesn't make the little girl or her family feel better.
It's sad and tragic that there are any cases of this disease at all, and deaths are especially tragic, in particular if they involve young people, but outliers are not reasons to panic.
