As a fellow introvert this has been a test run for my dream as well.
However, no kids, so it has been good so far. Two exceptions.
1. My wife has telecommuted for years and with no kids has nothing else to do. So she goes to the gym for two hours per day. Now I'm not going to the gym nor having to commute, so that means an extra 3+ hours at home with her grouchy because she can't get out.
2. My dog doesn't understand why I can't play with him anytime he wants.
