Patient lied about being sick. Didn’t have a fever when screened.
Had surgery.
Nurse caught patient whispering with family post op about not being forthcoming. Patient tested positive. Pretty much singlehandedly shut down one of our surgical departments and led to 24 staff being quarantined.
