You don’t know anything about the cost because they don’t know how to calculate and sure don’t understand utilization of services once it’s all free after taxes. Plus doctors would never take just Medicare rates. There are countless assumptions made on an already steep price tag that are unaccounted for entirely.

Doctors in those countries are used to being paid poorly. Those in this country wouldn’t stand for it. Also Medicare for all goes far beyond even Medicare with no premiums or cost sharing.

Oh and what rewards are there for being healthy? Everyone pays the same regardless. Dangerous combination with an already unhealthy country.

People’s lifestyles are what makes care so expensive in this country. Single payer will do less than nothing to fix that problem
