Does it mean that in Maryland, where 89% of tests have come back as positive is just much more strict about who gets tested than in New Mexico where 1.6% of tests have come back as positive? In other words, can you only get tested in Maryland if you have every possible symptom of CV-19 and you are ready to go on a respirator whereas in New Mexico, any rando walking into a hospital can get a test?
Or does it mean that it sucks to be you living in Maryland where the probability of getting CV-19 is much higher than if you live in NM?
I was super excited about this data until I saw it and the only thing I can take away is that there are very different types of testing going on from state to state.
