Im starting to get what it feels like to work in a socialistic environment, and it sucks. I’m in the hotel business and no doubt we are on the front lines of this thing....

My job instantly went from finding exciting ways to differentiate our company and hotels through repositioning and rebranding, to now, I come to work, earning a much lower fixed wage, spending time just putting out fires and finding out how to position our company in a way that will be able to get funding from the government.

There is no creative drive or pursuit to excellence, because my demand is fixed right now... I only gain from the hand outs being offered...

It’s really made me appreciate our free economy and the importance of competition and free markets to pursue the American dream...
