Overreaction: I was on a tennis court when they removed the tennis nets. >>>
It would have been easy to lock the courts. All pickleball nets, volleyball nets (rarely used), and tennis nets were removed "BY ORDER OF THE MAYOR." I took a few photos.
The adjoining city of 70K continues to have all City nets up and running.
