She came home from a cruise to Europe 3+ weeks ago and initially tested negative with no symptoms, a few days later symptoms manifested and she tested positive. She has been sedated and trached in the ICU for a week and was just transferred to a bigger hospital for higher level care, the outcome is poor at this time.

She was an otherwise healthy lady in her 60’s. Husband likely has it too but has not showed any symptoms. Obviously the husband is a wreck as he can’t go see her and he is getting very few updates about her condition.

Doctors do not want family coming to the hospital under any circumstances so they are keeping communication at a minimum. I feel terrible for him.
