Realistically, it will last until there’s either a vaccine
Or sufficient herd immunity to render it (mostly) harmless. Under either scenario, that probably lasts until 2021. That doesn’t mean that we’ll need to be under full lockdown during that time, but it does mean that we’ll be living with the risk of at least local flare-ups.
